Anne attended school in Memphis, Tennessee
where she was introduced to art at an early age.
Always a country
girl at heart she spent all the
time she could at her
grandparent’s DeSoto
County Mississippi farm. While at the
farm, she
had the opportunity to draw and paint the
landscapes, barns, buildings and animals. She soon
learned to appreciate all types of animals, their natural
beauty and the beauty of all the nature around them.
After Anne and her husband Buddy
were married, they made their home in DeSoto County. Over the past,
forty plus years Anne and her family have raised a variety of animals on
their DeSoto and Tate County farms. For the last few years Anne and her
husband have been semi retired; now raising only registered American
Miniature Horses. This allows Anne
more time to devote to her long time interest of painting, in a variety
of mediums and subjects.
Anne experienced pottery, porcelain painting, and fine art painting
classes during high school as well as art and drawing college classes.
Her artwork is in numerous private collections and businesses through
out the United States.
Anne is a member of Artist Network of North Mississippi,
DeSoto Arts Council, and Olive Branch Arts Council.
